The Culinary Team of BATA and their award-winning restaurant partner with the internationally renowned Tequila Ocho and Mezcal Vago for a culinary experience worthy of the last Agave Heritage Festival event of 2025.   This experience is offered the entire evening as a family-style tasting menu that includes a choice of a mezcal or tequila paired cocktail and two other spirit neat pour pairings.  Plan to meet Chris Simmons, Tyler Fenton, Andres Cruz, and a host of other experts helping to guide you along this culinary journey.   The first 72 guests receive a commemorative Tequila Ocho tasting flute to help you continue your Ocho journey while at home!"

Blues, Brews & BBQ Brunch takeover

The agave-forward culinary experiences will be paired with blues music for a lively celebration of all-things agave.

The Loews Ventana Canyon Resort culinary team is proud to present a special Agave Heritage Festival takeover of its award-winning Blues, Brews & BBQ Brunch during the festivities on Sunday, April 13. The event will feature a menu of Sonoran-inspired dishes with an agave-twist created by Chef Ryan Clark as well as agave spirits and tastings by Patron Anejo, Tequila Ocho Plata, Weber Ranch Vodka in a lively atmosphere.

Enjoy agave-infused barbecue dishes, including pork belly porchetta with an agave-jalapeno glaze, grilled salmon with mezcal barbecue sauce, shrimp cocktail with a tequila and mezcal-mango-infused cocktail sauce, and hamachi, salmon and tuna sashimi with a tequila-lime vinaigrette. Specialty desserts will also include a fusion of agave-inspired flavors, from a margarita tartlet and agave-pineapple upside-down cake to a tequila passion fruit crème brulee.

The agave-forward culinary experiences will be paired with blues music for a lively celebration of all-things agave.

Tickets to this special takeover brunch include agave tastings, agave-infused barbecue, music, soft drinks, draft beers and mimosas. A menu of specialty agave-based cocktails will be available a la carte.
